Earth Day is next Wednesday, but Nashville will be celebrating this Saturday, April 18th. Nashville's Earth Day Festival takes place at Centennial Park, and children's activities will kick off at 11:00 A.M. There will be a park-wide scavenger hunt complete with prizes, a kid's entertainment stage featuring music and dancers from around the world, and "Earth Day Soliel," which the organizers describe as "a 3-ring eco-friendly circus of fun and games."

You'll also find delicious festival food, local food and farming workshops for grown-ups, and a great sense of community spirit.

Here at Being Savvy Nashville we'll be talking about celebrating Earth Day with your preschoolers on Monday and Tuesday, so be sure to stop by!
